What is the Best Software to Check the Voltages of a Gigabyte Motherboard?
I’m looking for a program that I can run from my computer to monitor the voltages on the motherboard without having to plug anything into the motherboard itself.
A motherboard is the main circuit board inside a PC or laptop. The motherboard contains the processor, memory chips, video card, sound card, USB ports, power supply, etc. When running a motherboard test, the voltage should be checked at each component to ensure proper operation.

For maximum stability and performance, you should know all the facts about your system before overclocking. You need to consider how much heat your motherboard can handle, what kind of fan you’ll be using, and whether or not you want to use water cooling.
The Wraith Spire heatsink is a 95-watt cooler, compared to previous Ryzen models which only provide a 65-watt cooler. Overclocking to the recommended maximum may be possible. We should install CPU-Z CINEBENCH before starting the overclock.
GIGABYTE AMD X Ryzen Overclocking Guide
Overclocking is an advanced technique used to increase performance by increasing the frequency of a processor or memory module. This involves adjusting certain settings on the motherboard, CPU cooler, power supply unit (PSU), and/or RAM modules.
Introduction to Overclocking and The Flow Chart
We will describe how to easily overclock your new Ryzen Third Generation AMD CPU on GIGABYTE X570 AMD’s motherboards. You should know that you need a motherboard with an AM4 socket, and you also need to install the latest BIOS version. Then, you need to update the BIOS to the latest version, and then you need to download the latest driver for your processor. After that, you need to set up the BIOS correctly. Finally, you need to run the overclocking software.
PBO feature is very useful when overclocking your system. You can unlock all power restrictions and then allow the CPU to run faster. This is especially helpful if you’re using a high-end motherboard. Memory overclocking is now much easier because of the new BIOS features.
Stability Testing and a Good vs Bad OC
We recommend using Blender Benchmark or handbrake for quick testing. They both use AVX and give your CPU a workout. While they’re real-world tests, they do show how much power the CPU has. For more stable results, we suggest using Prime95.
Handbrake is an easy-to-use application for converting videos and other media files. It supports many different formats and codecs, including H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, MPEG-2, VC1, WMV, DivX, Xvid, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, AAC, MP3, WMA, Speex, Opus, RealAudio G2, and more. It also allows you to set various options such as audio sample rate, bitrate, frame size, and more.
Prime95 is the go-t0o for hardcore stability testing. People use it for 24 hours to determine if their stable or unstable. But, it can hurt your CPU if your voltage is set too high. And, it’s probably the most stressful thing you can do to your CPU. We ran SmallFFT tests because they work the CPU the hardest, and we wanted to see how much stress our CPUs could take before crashing.
We used 4.3GHz on all cores with a 1.4V set with LLC set to the extreme. Memory was set to 3.6 GHz using XMP and no change to timings of Folk. Here is a bad overclocking. In this case, we did not tune the SoC voltage nor VDDG, so Fclk was a bit unstable. Also, the CPU was very hot and even reached 100C while encoding. While it passed handbrake, you can see the log viewer. Our average encode speed was just 90fps, which is how we knew there was an issue with the overclock.
LLC is turbo mode, voltage is reduced by 0.1V, Vcore SoC is increased by 0.1V, and VDDG is increased by 0.05V. All of these changes increased in encoding speed.
At this point, you should try to overclock your CPU. You can use Prime95 or another hard stability testing program if you want.

Have you Overclocked Before?
Overclocking is the process of increasing the speed of your CPU by modifying some settings. You need to make sure that you have enough power supply capacity to handle the extra load. Also, if you’re using an Intel processor, you may need to disable Turbo Boost.
Disclaimer and Before You Begin Overclocking
You should be careful when overclocking your computer. Using a performance boost overdrive or overclocking your CPU voids your warranty. Also, if you use a performance boost overdrive or overclock your CPU, you’ll lose your warranty. This guide will show you how to overclock, however, both TweakTown Pty Ltd. and GIGA-BYTES Technology Co., Ltd. do not take responsibility for damages that may occur.
The Flow Chart
Overclocking is simple; You set a multiplier and a Voltage, then you run a test, if that test fails, you either add more voltage or reduce frequency. AMD’s Your new 3rd Generation Ryzen processors overclock all cores about as high as the Previous Generation, which is not too Bad Considering they are on a New Node. When Vendors Switch Nodes, Transistor Speeds Take A Bit Of A Dip Sometimes Compared To The Previous Generation Because The Previous Node Was Refined Over Time And The New Node Hasn’t Yet Been Fully Optimized.
CPU can run at full speed until it reaches 95 degrees Celsius (185 degrees Fahrenheit). You should avoid running Prime95 for too long because it could damage your CPU.
A fabric clock is a clock used by the GPU to synchronize the data transfer between the GPU and the RAM. Memory clocks are used to synchronize the data transfers between the CPU and the RAM. Both clocks are linked in a 1 to 1 ratio. This means that if your fabric clock goes up, then your memory clock must go down. However, you can change the ratio so that you can run at a slower fabric clock, which allows you to reach a faster memory clock.
Performance boost overdrive gives better results when running single-threaded programs. However, this does not apply to multi-threaded applications. The opposite is true. Multi-threaded applications benefit more from an all-core overclock.
Intermediate Users Advanced Memory Profiles
Intel® XMP is a standard set of memory settings provided by motherboard manufacturers. It is easy to use and provides optimal performance per the manufacturer’s specifications. However, it may not be as flexible or customizable as other memory profiles. Users who want more granular memory control should consider using an external tool such as MemTest86+ or SpeedFan.
To start this process, access your bios. When in your bios, explore the menus until I can find the section that allows me to tweak my memory profiles. If I am having trouble locating these options I should check my motherboard documentation for more information. Once I have found this section I should be able to pick between various combinations of frequency, timing, and memory voltage. Trial and error is usually the best way forward here. Test the different options until you get the one that works best.

I hope this guide has helped you with your decision-making process. Please leave any comments below. I would recommend getting a good-quality aftermarket cooler. Some people like the Corsair H100i while others prefer the NZXT Kraken X62. Either will work fine. Aftermarket coolers are much cheaper than OEM ones and also come.
